1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Free Reducer website, utilities, and associated digital tools available at freereducer.com (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Free Reducer is a browser-based suite of file utilities designed to compress, convert, optimize, and inspect various media formats, including images, documents, audio, and video files.

The Service utilizes modern web technologies, including HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and browser APIs, to perform file transformations directly on the user's client device. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial purposes.

3. Permitted & Prohibited Use

You may use Free Reducer to process files that you have the lawful right, license, or permission to modify. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to process files containing malware, viruses, trojans, or malicious payloads designed to exploit web browser sandboxes.
  • Execute automated, high-concurrency requests, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, or unauthorized web scraping against Free Reducer infrastructure.
  • Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable client-side batch processing restrictions or protective security controls.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with proprietary platform scripts beyond standard browser execution.

For comprehensive behavioral requirements, please review our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Intellectual Property & File Ownership

You retain 100% complete ownership and all intellectual property rights in your files.Free Reducer does not claim any copyright, license, trademark, or ownership interest in any content you process using our tools.

Because our transformation engines operate locally in your web browser without uploading files to our servers, we never store, view, copy, or distribute your intellectual property. All trademarks, logos, brand assets, and interface designs of Free Reducer are the property of Free Reducer.

5. Batch Processing & Performance Limits

To ensure reliable browser performance, prevent memory exhaustion (tab crashes), and maintain stability across mobile and desktop devices:

  • Single batches are calibrated to a recommended maximum of 50 files and up to 1 GB cumulative size.
  • Processing speed and throughput depend directly on your device hardware (CPU capabilities, available RAM, and browser WebAssembly performance).

6. Free Service & Disclaimer of Warranties

Free Reducer is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, secure, or that the results of file processing will be free from format inconsistencies or visual artifacts. You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of your source files before executing conversions or destructive compressions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Free Reducer, its creators, operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Third-Party Links & Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense) or links to third-party web resources. Free Reducer does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of such external third parties.
